NEW JOB!
Starting in July, I’ll be leaving the RTV Utrecht “nest” where I grew up—and where I was able to settle back in for a while after all my years as a freelancer in Berlin. It’s a very warm nest, because—especially after moving during the strictest lockdown 😷—it was a real relief to be back at my old, familiar workplace, with new, vibrant, and talented colleagues. There, I once again produced dozens of new reports and often appeared live on air, feeling right at home.

Not always perfect—but nothing ever is. However, it was incredibly enjoyable, and I was constantly surprised by all the new stories that need to be told. I still have a list of stories lined up for the last two and a half weeks.
But now I also want to learn new things. I want to get to know more regional broadcasters and collaborate with the national newsrooms, which is why I’m moving on—to Bureau Regio 📢, the link between all thirteen regional broadcasters and the NOS 📻 🎤 📺. I’ll be starting there as a coordinator and editor-in-chief. It’s exciting—I don’t know yet what lies ahead, but I’m really looking forward to it!
If I end up missing my time in front of the camera too much, I’ll always have my own compilation (which, as usual, has turned out to be a bit too long :). 🎥
